The position: Optimization Specialist

As our Optimization Specialist, you will be responsible for Analyzing platform performance data, ensuring optimization tasks drive bookings, implementing visibility-enhancing strategies, and staying up-to-date with industry best practices. This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented individual with strong organizational skills, initiative, a positive attitude, and the ability to work on various tasks as needed.

This position is for you if you are ready to jump into an energetic start-up environment where you will become an expert. Because you will be amongst our first Optimization Specialists, you will not only play a key role in the company, but you will also have direct access to the company's leadership. Most importantly, you will have the opportunity to build a career as we work on growing the company.

Specifically, we need you to:

• Manage a high volume of property listings under pressure, ensuring tasks are completed in a timely manner while maintaining strong organizational skills and attention to detail;
• Take charge of onboarding new clients by effectively communicating initial optimization tasks and strategies via email to ensure a seamless start to their experience;
• Follow up on the optimization tasks to make sure they result in generating bookings;
• Monitor optimization related KPIs such as views, first page impressions, click through rate, etc;
• Constantly look and take action on the different opportunities/tips from each platform to increase visibility;
• Study and learn platforms best practices, new features, updates and become an expert on Airbnb, Guesty, VRBO and Booking.com and any other relevant provider or player in the Industry;
• Because of our start-up environment, we need you to be open to working on many other tasks that might come up and we will appreciate your flexibility with the schedule if needed.

Is this job for you? It is if:

• You have at least 2 to 3 years of experience in the short term rental industry and office work;
• You have experience with Guesty or other similar Property Management softwares;
• You have a keen attention to detail and thrive in a work environment that demands high levels of accuracy and focus;
• You possess strong organizational skills, enabling you to manage multiple tasks effectively and prioritize them accordingly;
• You have a very strong initiative: You are not the type of person that waits for someone to tell you what needs to be done. The words “this is not my responsibility” are not part of your vocabulary;
• You have an incredibly positive attitude: negativity has no space at Angel Host;
• You have a willingness to work in a startup environment;
• Bilingualism in English and Spanish is a plus! (written and oral);
• You love to laugh and be part of an awesome team.
