The position: Listing Specialist
As our Listing Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in managing the entire lifecycle of our clients' property listings across various platforms. You will be responsible for seamlessly integrating new properties, ensuring optimal channel distribution, executing updates, and continuously optimizing existing listings to maximize visibility, performance, and booking potential. Working closely with our Onboarding, Account Management, Revenue Manager, and Customer Service teams, you will ensure our listings are accurate, appealing, and consistently meet the high standards required by Angel Host and our platform partners.

Specifically, we need you to:
- Integrate New Properties:
- Set up new properties comprehensively (A-Z) within our Property Management Software (Guesty).
- Work closely with the Onboarding team to ensure accurate and timely integration according to established processes and timelines.
- Ensure all new property listings are professional, accurate, complete, and optimized for performance from day one.
- Configure necessary settings, workflow automations, and client portals related to listings.
- Manage Channel Distribution:
- Publish and optimize listings across all major Online Travel Agencies (OTAs) such as Airbnb, Booking.com, VRBO, Expedia, and any new channels added.
- Ensure seamless connectivity and troubleshoot any synchronization issues between the PMS and OTAs.
- Implement best practices for channel distribution and ensure listings meet the specific requirements of each platform.
- When needed, assist with channel distribution tasks like pre-filling onboarding questionnaires.
- Optimize Listings for Performance:
- Continuously analyze listing performance data (e.g., views, click-through rates, booking conversion) from various platforms.
- Identify underperforming listings and develop/implement strategies to improve their visibility and booking potential (this includes content, photos, amenities, settings, etc.).
- Actively seek out and implement optimization opportunities and tips provided by platform partners.
- Follow up on optimization tasks to ensure they result in generating bookings.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to listing optimization.
- "Relaunch" or significantly refresh listings as needed to boost performance.
- Execute Listing Changes & Maintain Accuracy:
- Execute bulk listing updates and handle individual listing change requests accurately and efficiently.
- Ensure all listing details, descriptions, amenities, photos, and policies) remain accurate and consistent across all platforms.
- Constantly review and contribute to improving elements of the listing management process.
- Become a Platform Expert & Collaborate:
- Study, learn, and stay current on platform best practices, new features, algorithm changes, and updates for Guesty, Airbnb, VRBO, Booking.com, Expedia, and other relevant industry players.
- Collaborate effectively with Onboarding Coordinators, Account Managers, Customer Service, Revenue Managers, and other internal teams.
- Because of our start-up environment, be open to working on various related tasks as needed and demonstrate flexibility.
Is this job for you? Well, it is if:
- You have at least 2-3 years of experience in a relevant role involving listing management, channel management, or property management system administration, specifically within the vacation rental or hospitality industry (this is a major plus).
- You have hands-on experience with Property Management Software (PMS), with Guesty experience being strongly preferred.
- You have direct experience working with major OTAs like Airbnb, VRBO, Booking.com, and Expedia.
- You are highly attentive to detail and thrive in environments requiring accuracy and focus.
- You possess strong organizational and time management skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
- You have a very strong sense of initiative and are proactive – you don't wait to be told what needs to be done. "This is not my responsibility" isn't in your vocabulary.
- You have an incredibly positive attitude – negativity has no space at Angel Host.
- You possess excellent written and spoken communication skills in English.
- You have a willingness and enthusiasm for working in a dynamic startup environment and welcome challenges.
- You are comfortable working independently and collaborating as part of a team.
- You are proficient with technology and comfortable working extensively on a computer.
- You love to laugh and be part of an awesome team!
Nice to have:
- Fluent in English and Spanish (written and spoken) is a plus!
- Experience with specific listing optimization techniques and data analysis.
- Comfortable with tools like Slack, Hubspot, and Google Suite.
