The team

Our core team has built out our operations in the Canadian and U.S. markets, and we are now working to scale the business. The role

We are looking for an energetic Channel Sales Manager to assist in the growth and development of our Channel Partner and Direct Customer Sales. In this role you will report directly to the Director of Growth and will work with key stakeholders in the Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Operations & Leadership teams to lead and execute our go-to-market strategy across North America.

What you’ll do

This is a Hunter sales role to build a strong portfolio of channel partners and increase EnPowered’s customer base through sales to Commercial and Industrial Customers. Your role will be to help us execute our sales strategy and drive growth in our core markets. We are looking for an experienced individual that is comfortable selling both to Channel partners, and direct to Customer (B2B), and adapting to new markets, whilst managing a portfolio of channel partners to drive sales through these relationships. Below is a rough guide for how we expect your role to look, but things are likely to change as you grow in your role.

  • Grow Our Channel Partner Portfolio

Initially, you will work to reach out and build a portfolio of quality channel partners that you can work with across our target markets. You will prospect, qualify, onboard and manage a portfolio of partners that see value in partnering with EnPowered to support their business, and their end-customers.

  • Manage your Channel Partner Portfolio and Grow our Customer base

As you build your portfolio, you will build strong relationships with your partners, nurturing, motivating and supporting them to ramp up on our product and value proposition products to increase leads and ultimately new customer sales. You will present EnPowered to your partners and their customers, working together to secure new EnPowered customers, and demonstrating the value EnPowered provides to our partner and customers.

  • Grow our Customer Base through Direct Sales

In addition to growing and managing your portfolio of partners to drive channel sales, you will also directly prospect, present EnPowered, and sell to large Commercial and Industrial customers in our core markets.

  • Support the Sales Team as We Grow

Throughout your time at EnPowered, we will be optimizing our sales processes and strategies. You will help the team develop and improve based on your learnings in the market and prior experiences in other roles.

Who you are

  • You have experience working in and ideally selling in the energy industry.
  • You have 5 years sales experience in direct and channel partner sales.
  • Experience cold calling and prospecting.
  • You are someone who wants to own their work.
  • You exhibit confidence, know how to gather relevant information on a topic area and are comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • You are comfortable learning new software tools.
  • You have the proven ability to start and run your own projects from beginning to end.
  • You have strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across functions.
