We are seeking a highly experienced and strategically-minded Enterprise / Strategic Account Manager to join our high-performing Sales team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for closing, owning, nurturing, and expanding relationships with our most important and strategic bank partners in the US and UK. You will be instrumental in driving long-term, high-value partnerships, influencing the bank’s strategy, and ensuring their success aligns with our company's goals and vision. This position demands a leader capable of navigating complex financial institutions, building and fostering deep relationships, and requires engagement with industry leaders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Account Management: Autonomously own and drive the entire sales cycle, from initial prospecting and strategy development to complex negotiations and deal closure, exclusively within the largest banks in the US and UK. Simultaneously, cultivate deep, multi-level relationships across these strategic financial institutions
- Expert Client Understanding: Develop an unparalleled understanding of each bank's specific industry context, bespoke business needs, C-suite objectives, buying behaviors, budget processes, challenges, and long-term goals.
- Comprehensive Strategic Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive, multi-year strategic account plans that are tightly aligned with both the bank's objectives and FISPANs vision of the future. Ensure these plans maximize customer satisfaction, retention, and significant revenue growth.
- High-Value Deal Negotiation & Closure: Lead and master the full sales cycle for large-scale, multi-product opportunities with these top-tier banks, including those involving bespoke solutions. Demonstrate exceptional skill in closing high-value deals and securing new business within the financial sector.
- Trusted Advisor & Executive Engagement: Act as a trusted advisor to senior executives within partner banks, proactively providing insights on fintech trends, competitive landscapes, and how our solutions drive strategic value and transformation. Identify, cultivate, and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across these financial organizations.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate deeply with internal Product, Marketing, Partner Success, and Service Operations teams to shape solutions, ensure strategic alignment, and guarantee seamless execution of account plans and client experience for our banking partners.
- Revenue Growth & Expansion: Be the CEO of your assigned portfolio of the largest banks. Drive significant, measurable revenue growth, strategic expansion of the company's footprint within these strategic accounts, and the acquisition of new high-value banking clients.
- Proactive Relationship and Risk Management: Proactively monitor the health of your bank partners, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure long-term client retention and success. Work closely with Partner Success to address concerns and champion the needs of our banking clients internally.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Technology, or a related field. MBA preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in enterprise sales or strategic account management, with at least 7+ years focused on selling complex software/SaaS solutions within the fintech sector or directly to large, complex organizations.
- Proven, quantifiable track record of successfully managing multi-million dollar account portfolios and consistently exceeding quota.
- Deep understanding of the fintech industry, banking operations, financial technology stacks, and market trends affecting financial institutions.
- Exceptional communication, executive presentation, and high-stakes negotiation skills.
- Proven ability to develop, articulate, and execute sophisticated, long-term strategic account plans presented to executive audiences.
- Experience building and maintaining relationships with senior executives.
- Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, Hubspot) and other sales tools.
- Ability to travel as needed (e.g., 2-3 times per quarter).

Compensation Package
FISPAN believes in an atmosphere and culture when innovation can flourish, collaboration and teamwork are valued and transparency is at the core of it all. We want our employees to see how the ideas they help generate today have an impact on how we do business tomorrow. With that, the hiring salary range for this position is $150,000 - $180,000 USD base annually; the base pay offered is based on comparable market data from companies of similar employee size, revenue and location. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive semi-annual bonus program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
