The Director of Implementations will be responsible for nurturing strategic ships with financial service enterprises, managing end-to-end implementations, and driving growth. The chosen candidate will become a trusted advisor in conjunction with other internal teams; making sure that OneVest’s product and service offerings deliver and exceed expectations. This will be a multifaceted role with a considerable opportunity for impact and contributions across the entire organization.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Support the Head of Customer Solutions with setting the vision for OneVest’s Implementation initiatives, processes and culture from conceptualization to delivery, measurement and maintenance
  • Learn, do and document in a hands-on capacity, with the goal of establishing best practices that can then be delegated to an empowered team
  • Plan and manage new customer onboarding and work with internal teams to ensure implementation best practices are adopted and executed
  • Act as a primary point of contact for customer implementations; identify and align on strategic program goals, priority use cases, key performance indicators and opportunities
  • Provide regular customer updates including performance indicators, successful outcome metrics, and progress updates to the Executive team and Senior Management
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Product & Technology, Operations, Revenue, Wealth) to represent and advocate for customer needs, strategies, opportunities and insights in order to assist with OneVest’s product roadmap and developing new product features
  • Provide subject matter expertise to customers to assist in navigating their implementation from project kick-off through to business-as-usual phases
  • Monitor and control overall project delivery tracking, performance, and risks for assigned customers
  • Leverage data and insights from new and existing clients to guide strategy and implementation of OneVest solutions for its customers
  • Identify customers best-suited to participate in research and co-development opportunities as well as participate in the identification of new features
  • Build and lead an exceptional team to deliver engaging customer experiences, including recruitment, providing regular coaching and mentorship, and measuring performance of the team and individuals
  • Act as a key resource in addressing customer escalations, should they occur, and handling resolution with humility and integrity

Must Haves:

  • 10+ years of enterprise-focused technology implementation, project management, account management, and/or management consulting work experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field: business administration, commerce, or operations management
  • Experience in digital transformation projects in wealth and/or asset management firms
  • Hands on experience leading SaaS implementations
  • Thorough knowledge of the operational landscape in the wealth management industry including stakeholders, service providers, and incumbents
  • Demonstrable experience with bringing a 6-12 month financial technology implementation project to market
  • Strong and effective program management skills including but not limited to: planning, time management, communication, and negotiation
  • Proven experience in team leadership and effective communication both across distributed teams and between all levels of an organization from junior roles to the C-suite
  • Skilled in operational improvements including analysis and improvement of processes, problem-solving and delegation
  • Professional familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements related to the wealth management industry in Canada, the US, or both

Bonus Skills and Experience:

  • Work experience at modern wealth tech firm
  • Experience launching technology programs or projects across borders and/or in different international markets
  • Written proficiency in Canadian French
