Who We Are
Our mission is to provide access to life-changing educational and career opportunities. Passage's platform empowers immigrants and international students by matching their unique talents with crucial workforce needs in Canada. We then work to provide financing and the support needed to facilitate their transformational journeys to study or work abroad.
With student success at our core, we are now looking for a hands-on, entrepreneurial individual to build and innovate our student employment stream. This role requires someone who can own the process end-to-end and isn't afraid to get their hands dirty. If you're passionate about guiding international students and immigrants on their career journey, and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, we invite you to apply.
It's important to note that we maintain an in-office working policy, and we require candidates to either reside in Toronto or be open to relocating to the area and committing to a five-day-a-week in-office schedule.
Who You Are
We are seeking a dynamic and entrepreneurial Talent Success Lead to join our mission-driven team at Passage. Our mission is to empower international students by providing them with the financial support and career opportunities they need to succeed. The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure that every student who receives funding from Passage can secure employment opportunities, from minimum wage jobs during their studies to internships and post-graduate positions. The ideal candidate is a dedicated problem solver with exceptional execution skills who is passionate about guiding students through the entire employment process, from A to Z, ensuring their success and financial independence.
What You Will Do
We need someone who can fundamentally solve the challenges our students face in securing employment, using cutting-edge technology and innovative approaches. This is your problem to own and solve.
Partnership Development:
Multilingual Skills: Ability to speak multiple languages.
Founder Experience: Previous experience founding or co-founding a startup or initiative, showcasing entrepreneurial spirit and leadership or startup experience in early and growth stages
Collaboration Experience: Demonstrated success in forging and managing relationships with businesses, universities, associations, and other organizations to support talent in securing successful careers in Canada and driving impactful business outcomes.
